References
Gaited Mules According to the American Gaited Mule Association, or AGMA, a Gaited Mule is any mule who possess a smooth gait other than a walk, and distinct from a trot. This may include a running walk, racking, fox trotting, single-footing, a stepping pace, or other similar gait. As their parentage varies widely, so do the colors and sizes of the Gaited Mule. To be registered in the AGMA, the mare must be registered in a gaited breed association and the mule foal must prove its gait through an AGMA assessment. If the mule foal is born to a registered gaited mare and an AGMA registered jack, no assessment is necessary. Source: Link
