See alt pics for ref images. The Friesian Heritage Horse & Sporthorse International group created the first registry for the Imperial Heritage Horse (IHH) in 2006. This partbred breed is defined as a Friesian crossed with any Registered leopard-spotted breed, usually the Appaloosa or Danish Knabstrupper. Registered IHHs must be DNA-tested and be verified to their Friesian lineage and must be at least 25% Friesian.
