The Felin or Felinski Pony is a relatively new and rare Polish-bred sport pony breed descended from Arab horses, Polish Koniks, Małopolski horses and Welsh ponies.
While conformation of the breed varies, the aim of the Felin Pony breeding program is to create a strong riding pony-type breed that is smaller in height than Poland's Małopolski. Like the Małopolski horse, Felin ponies should have a neck of good length, withers prominent, the chest wide and deep, the shoulders sloping and long. The legs should be well-muscled and long, with good joints and tough hooves. The face may be straight or lightly concave.
The VOLTA Horse program in Poland currently hosts an active breeding line of grulla, dun and overo-frame mares and stallions.
