I thought by spending hours filling out all the little boxes to enter my horse in the system it would filter out classes the horse is not eligible to enter.
Having to scroll those 50 or so classes to find one to enter is very time consuming and makes me not want to enter at all

Tuesday, January 25, 2022 9:25 AMIt is up to the show host to add filters to their classes so that only horses who belong in that class see them. If the host leaves everything open, then it will show up as eligible for most horses, because technically they are eligible. The system can't know what horses are and aren't eligible without the show host telling it that. If the show host has put in the time to enter all the information of what is and isn't allowed, then it will work as intended, but some show hosts choose to just leave it all open.
That said, there are two ways to enter horses into classes - from the horse's individual See Eligible Classes page and from the show's Enter Class page itself. The fastest way I've found to enter classes is the following:
Open the show you are going to enter on the Shows page. Open a division you are planning on entering some horses in, say OF Breyer. Then the sections, so you can see all the classes. Right click the "Enter" button on the classes you are entering and click "Open in new tab." This will open the Class Enter page in a new tab. I open a bunch of class tabs for all the ones I know I have horses for. On each Enter Class page, I select and enter all the horses I am planning on putting in that class. This way, you can enter multiple horses in one class without ever leaving that one page (which is much less time consuming than doing it per individual horse). When I'm done entering that class, I close its tab, and move on to the next. If the class limit is, say, 5, then you can enter all 5 horses on that one Enter Class page without ever needing to refresh or find it again.
At the end, I go to My Horses page and do an advanced search to show me only the horses that AREN'T entered in that show yet, to see if I missed any. All in all, I can enter tons of horses within a pretty short time period that way, even if the host has decided not to add any filters.
