Chronos Miniatures - Artist or Factory Resin?

some Chronos Miniatures are part of my collection. I registered them as Custom Factory Resins on OMHPS, because they are produced in Russia and sold via different stores in Europe. Some time ago I saw other Chronos Miniatures model horses on OMHPS, but they were registered as Artist Resins. I would like to know the opinion of other collectors. What do you think? Are they Artist Resins or Custom Factory Resins?

Are they made of metal? Or resin? Are they produced commercially en masse, or made to order?

I'm going to throw a monkey wrench into the equation, and say if made of resin and sold commercially unfinished, then painted by various artists in the hobby, then they should be shown as CM (customized).

If made of metal, then can't really be shown as a resin. I'm not sure if OMHPS has a category for metal (pewter, chrome, bronze, etc) figures...

I guess that doesn't really answer your question.. I guess it's up to the showholder where/what division to slot these pieces? 😉

Some figurines by Chronos Miniatures are made of white metal and some are made of resin (They do not only produce horse figurines.), but the horses by Chronos Miniatures are all made of resin. They are made en masse in Russia and afterwards sold by different online stores and traders in Europe. Their model horses are sold as unpainted construction kits in grey resin. I am not sure if they were printed in resin by a 3D-printer. Chronos Miniatures calls this material resin. You have to assemble and paint them yourself. Because of that I registered mine a custom factory resins, but I saw other Chronos model horses that are registered as artist resins. Afterwards I was unsure which is the right category for them.

Yes, there is a category at OMHPS for model horses that are made of metal.
