References
National Show Horse The National Show Horse is a breed that began by crossing an American Saddlebred with an Arabian. Today they can either be a purebred NSH or an ASB Arabian cross, but must be at least 50% Arabian. They are most commonly seen in Saddleseat, but are also used for endurance, dressage, show jumping, pleasure driving, and western events. The NSH usually stands between 14.3 and 16.2 hands. They have a long, slender, high-set neck that is arched but not cresty, a small head with a straight or convex profile, long, sloping shoulders, and a high set tail. Colors include Bay, chestnut, gray, black, dilute, and pinto.
