Link The Deliboz is an ancient horse breed originating from the regions of Taus, Kazakh and Akstafa, which are now apart of modern-day Azerbaijan. They are descendants of Azerbaijani horses, and in the 1940s and 50s, a selective breeding program was created to expand and refine the breed by outbreeding a select few to Arabians, Karabakhs and Tersks. This helped to even out their temperament, increase stamina and further refine their physical features. They are notable for having a racking gait.
