Sonic is frequently mistaken for a chestnut, and I can understand why, but I do promise that he is bay. Ponies sometimes get extreme amounts of foal camo that they hold onto for a very long time. Sonic is three years old, and still has this much flaxen. The black on his lower legs, eartips, and in his tail gives him away as a bay.
