This was achieved through selecting for long, sloping shoulders and hips with short backs in relation to the horse’s underline, allowing for a far-reaching stride. These horses range from 14.3 to 17 hands and 900-1200 lbs and can come in any solid color and most color patterns and dilutions, including tobiano.
