Finnhorse Also known as the Finnish Universal, the Finnhorse developed from draft and warmblood influences to produce a horse fulfill all the equestrian needs of the Finnish people, from heavy agricultural work to driving and riding. Four sections of the Finnhorse breed are recognized, including the pony, draught, riding, and trotter types. This particular horse is more representative of the older, all-purpose type Finnhorse versus one of the subsections that have developed over time. Finnhorses are renowned as the fastest coldblooded trotting breed, excel in showjumping, dressage, and are praised for their hardworking and docile natures.
