References: The Noriker is a moderately heavy draught horse that is surefooted with a good sense of balance. The heights average between 156 and 163cm at the withers. The head should be dry and should express the "harsh draught horse" aristocracy. The neck should be strong and meet a shoulder that is long and positioned well. Chest should be broad and deep while the croup should be muscular. Strong and clear joints with wide cannon bones. The breed comes in a large variety of colors, making them very popular. The come in the basic base colors bay, black, and chestnut with patterns such as leopard appaloosas, blue, brown, and red roans, tobianos, and overos. One of the colors that is not accepted in the registry/does not occur naturally in the breed is grey. (Link)
