Friday, September 23, 2022 2:29 PMThe 2nd Annual Autumn Thunder Draft Specialty Show is in the works. I'll share some information on the Division, Section and Class structure below so you can have a look ahead of time for planning purposes. Registration is October 3rd - 17th and I hope to have judging wrapped up by Thanksgiving (November 24th). I'll be monitoring my private forum messages on this site and my email during the registration and show. I also hope to be adding a few additional judges this year.
(I apologize that some of my formatting is dropping, but hopefully I've made enough changes to make this readable.)
Overview
The focus of this show is on Drafts and Draft types.
Breed classes have been expanded this year and each Halter section has a Foals class. There are also specific classes for some heavy carriage breeds, draft ponies, and an entire section for grade drafts, various draft crosses and draft-type longears. Irish Cobs (Vanners/Tinkers) will have their own class under UK Drafts.
Classes have strict breeds where possible. A few have suggested breeds, but other breeds fitting the breed type can enter. Crossbred classes and the Action Division (by pose) classes can't be set as strict breeds.
Limit 7 entries per class/per entrant.
Each draft-type horse can be entered 2 times–once in Halter, once in an Action class (by pose).
An overview of the Division/Section/Class structure is posted below.

Friday, September 23, 2022 4:47 PMThis looks like a wonderful show!! Looking forward to it! 🙂
A question about North American Drafts, particularly the Sendera Draft: I noticed you have a class for Sugarbush/Sendera Draft – Leopard Complex
Since this breed also comes in solid colours, will you be creating a separate class for them?
Cheers, and thnks!

Friday, September 23, 2022 5:20 PMHi, thanks so much for your question.
Yes, there's supposed to be a class for Sugarbush/Sendera Draft - Other Patterns or Solid. I think it just got cutoff in the formatting here, but if it's not there when the show is approved, I'll add it or have the admin add it. Thanks for mentioning this!! (It should now be fixed in the list above.)

Monday, October 3, 2022 9:56 PMHi, should entries into Fancy Feet be close ups of our models' hooves? :)

Saturday, October 8, 2022 8:23 PMHi jeslynnighthawk,Yes, preferably, so the details can be clearly seen. (Sorry I didn't see your question before now. I've been monitoring private messages, but forgot to check here, too.) If your photo is high enough resolution, you might be able to crop to show the hoof details better. Thanks for your question.
