Custom OR OF? Fantasys

Thursday, May 26, 2022 12:12 AM

Hi,

I want to enter some of my Breyer Stablemates into the Fantasy Fairytale show.

They are cute little breyer suncatchers, so I have painted them, but they are still partly Original Finish.

They are not re-sculpted/molded or physically modified. Which make should i put them as; OF or Custom Plastic?

Thanks,

Heidi (SB)

I would classify them as CM plastic. :)

Definitely CM, you would be disqualified if you put them in OF. CM means repaint or resculpt. I bet they're adorable! 😀

Aww, thankyou Spotted Dreams Studios!

That's very helpful. Didn't know cm meant re-PAINT as well.

Please post a link to their profiles when you have them up, I'd love to see them! 🎠

Sorry i got back to you so late. :(

I didnt want to go with painting them whole in colours, as there were fewer colours than horses, so i just did some different patterns/markings on them.*

*Magnolia is a different story tho. xD she was kind of a test.

Very nice! 😀

Only thing is you might want to take out the "OF horse" part in their description, as that means original finish, which is paint. You do not need to note that the body has not been altered. You typically only note if it was re-sculpted, not if it wasn't. :)
