Hello!

Hello everyone! I've been in and out of the hobby since I was 9 years old, but this year I seem to be back in it (hence the name I chose). Sadly, I've sold off my entire collection by this point, so I'm working on building up a small one yet again - can't be too big because I unfortunately move frequently. It will mainly be Stablemate scale models (oh my gosh there are some amazing new molds since I last collected - I love the shrunken-down traditionals!). What got me back into it was finding out about virtual Breyerfest completely by chance and choosing to fulfill my childhood dream of attending, then watching all the hobbyists on YouTube for months beforehand. I actually used to love photo showing, and I dreamed as a kid of having a website like this. You have no idea how excited I was to discover than someone had finally built it!

Hi and Welcome! I have a similar story to yours except this is my second time back in the hobby after selling almost my entire collection twice before. I've been back at it for a couple of years now and slowing re-growing a collection. (Believe I'm back to stay this time. :) ) I was never able to attend BreyerFest prior to it going virtual in 2020, so I'm really glad that they announced it will be both a live AND virtual event going forward for those who aren't able to make the trip.

Like you, I've been waiting for someone to build a site like this, and though I was involved with others, none have the bells and whistles this site does. I think you're going to love it. What types/breeds do you collect?
