Exploring photo showing

Hello, everyone!
I haven’t photo shown in 30 years - last time it involved a SASE :)

I’m photographing my collection to document it, I may as well show the photos, right?

I look forward to getting back into this aspect of the Hobby.

Welcome! I too remember the days of the SASE and waiting forever for the results to come back. Those were the glory days of Breyer and JAH quarterlies. Most of my show string are old school Breyer. I have enjoyed the variety of shows being hosted here. Hope you will have fun too.

Welcome! I think there are a lot of us "oldies" on here who can remember those days :). I took a long break as well and I am enjoying this version of showing so much more than the old mail style. I can see the competition, and my photos don't get lost! Have fun!

Oh, yes. I remember those days well. I even hosted a mail-in photo show or two back in the days of Simone Smiljanic and others who spearheaded the model horse show/club community. That was fun, but I really enjoy this updated version of photo showing and this site avoids all the frustrations of the FB and photo-site shows (such as Smug Mug). I think you’ll really like it here. 😊
