LOOKING FOR JUDGES!!!

Years Experience: About a year in the hobby but none judging. Are you looking for a judge with fresh eyes? I'm the judge for you! (I do have education in art as well as zoology and animal anatomy.)

Prefer To Judge: (such as OF, AR, etc.): Custom classes, decorator, fantasy, and workmanship are my main interests, but I will judge OF as well. I feel I do not have the knowledge for collectability. I am especially interested in fill-in judging for those whose shows need to be completed!

Prefer To Judge: I’m most comfortable judging Halter (OF, CM, AR), but am very willing to branch out to other types if needed.

Availability: I can judge throughout the day (but particularly in the evenings), every day. My schedule is very flexible! :)

I try my best to judge as quickly as possible, while still having quality. I use judge’s comments to give friendly advice, if I feel the entrant could benefit from the knowledge.

Years Experience: None as a judge, but 2 years of showing, along with 10+ years of collecting. I also have 10+ years in the real horse world, and I'm big on correct confirmation and color. I've also been very active in the PA side of the hobby since 2020, so I've gained knowledge of breeds and pedigrees from that.

As a collector, amateur artist and longtime Equine Licensed Vet Tech, I bring 50 years of model horse collecting and 2 years of photo showing as well as 50 years of real live horse showing, training and teaching as experience. I have experience judging model horse photo divisions. I currently judge for MHOSS, TOPSA, and now USOMHS.

My preferences for judging are Artist Resins and Customs. I have some experience judging Performance.

Hello all! I would like to find a show to help judge this spring, if possible! Some of my details below have changed, so I will make those notes:

25+ Years in the hobby, 22 years of live showing, 13 years live show judging, ~10 years live show hosting (non inclusive of the years off in early 20's). I judged Collectibility at NAN for the first time in 2024, as well as OF Large Batch Workmanship for Equilocity in 2024. I entered 14 shows here on OMHPS in 2021, but then took a break until 2024 with Stone's Little Horse Show being my return. Since then I have entered 9 other shows here. I have stewarded several shows for Breyer on Ponybytes since 2021. I am currently employed, but I work from home so I have a little flexibility. I wouldn't be good to take on more than one show at once. March-May is my target for 2025 but in general I'd be open to any OMHPS or individual user hosted shows in the October-May timeframe per year. Some summers may be ok but this year will be kind of chaotic and I don't want to take on too much. And I already have a commitment for September. In general, please ask at least a week ahead for judging positions so I can determine if your show will work with my schedule at that time. I may be contacted via PM here, but it's easiest to contact via email.

Prefer To Judge: Breyer collectibility is my absolute favorite and I definitely have the most knowledge in it over everything else. Stones would be ok for Collectibility as well. I would be comfortable with other brands in OF also, so long as there is ample documentation provided. I love Color shows so those would be fun to judge!

I have held my own live show, New England Novice Extravaganza, co-hosted the Region 10 Championships (TRXC) in 2017, and have worked for many hosts in New England and NY over the dozen-plus years I have judged for.

Availability: I do have other projects and responsibilities, but I'm probably a bit more available than the average person as I do not have kids or pets either.

Overall I do tend to judge pretty quickly within the times I have available.
