Can't delete alternate images

I've just been uploading new photos of some of my horses, but one of them - Cerberino I - refuses to let me change the alternate photos? I try to upload new ones, nope. Delete the old ones, update the page, they pop right back up no matter what I do.

Is it a bug or am I forgetting something incredibly basic? 🤨
