A vintage show this way comes!

Friday, November 1, 2024 12:43 PMHello everybody! I'm happy to announce my very first show ever, Witchimage's Vintage Xtravaganza, has been approved! It opens for submissions on November 10th and runs through to the 25th :) Its a vintage show designed for both vintage models AND modern models produced on vintage molds, so you can show newer models too, as long as they're on a vintage mold! We have divisions for Trads (Large) and then SMs, Paddock Pals and Classics (Mini). I did cap class entries at 25 given that it's my first time judging or hosting, so be quick! 👀

Sunday, November 10, 2024 5:20 AMHello, I've been looking forward to entering this show, I don't have any pre-2004 models uploaded in my OMHPS showstring, but quite a few newer ones on older moulds, so I was very happy to see you have classes for those as well. Only I'm having trouble, it says they're not eligible even when they are!
Here's a screenshot example of one I'm trying to enter (click to enlarge, the forum's having issues with this image being too wide so I had to post it as a thumbnail!)
This particular horse is Zenyatta, sold 2010 to 2015, on the Lonesome Glory mould which is from 2000. So I'm certain she should be showing as eligible for this exact class. Her Collectability info is filled in (and I have typed it right, no weird mistakes, cos the years are shown there in brackets after her name). So I can't think what else to do to make the OMPHS system realise she's allowed in! Help?!

Sunday, November 10, 2024 9:39 AMIm having same issue with older models. Trying to enter my PAM (1991-1992) fitting the requirements and it shows same as HarecroftHorses’s Zenyatta. No idea why

Sunday, November 10, 2024 5:45 PMI managed to get one in (I'd forgotten him, he's juuuust old enough to go into the vintage class!), but all the horses I'm trying to put into the Modern Model on Vintage Mould classes are still saying they're ineligible, even though all their years fall in the right range, and their info is entered on the collectability tab. I just can't understand how the OMHPS system can give the 'incorrect' years as the reason they're ineligible, in the very same sentence which has perfectly correct years stated in brackets - this whole problem makes no sense to me, hahah!

Monday, November 11, 2024 12:13 PMI'm having this too, for example with the Lone Ranger's Silver
I try to enter him in Vintage and it says the dates are wrong, then I try to enter him in Modern and it says the dates are wrong...

Monday, November 11, 2024 1:11 PMSomething's been corrected today, cos I've been able to enter all my horses into the relevant Modern classes now - thanks to the showholder and/or OMHPS staff for fixing this behind the scenes!
The only one I had to give up on is a 2001-2006 release, cos his years overlap the 2004 cut-off date between being vintage and being modern, so he's not eligible for either class. I think that might be the problem with your Silver, as he's also 2001-2006 model according to IdentifyYourBreyer.

Monday, November 11, 2024 5:07 PMHey yall! So I did enter my years the wrong way originally and got in touch with the mods to correct it. As for the horses you still can't enter due to being retired after 2004, that was an oversight on my part and I don't wanna bother the mods again about changing more stuff so I'll just have to let that be for now, BUT for the next installment of this show (if I decide to make it annual) I will have the retired years for vintage models expanded! Sorry it took me a while to see this btw!
