Why is it that my solid bay horse, is "perfectly elegible" to enter into the class with grey horses/tobiano/appaloosa etc. ?

It's because there is no way for the system to detect what color your horse is. The system uses the things you put in for your horse (the breed, make, size, etc. from the dropdown menus) to decide whether or not it's eligible for a class, but we have not put in things like color or pattern yet. When we add the workmanship/collectibility/performance showing system we will add selections for things like color and pattern so that it'll show the actual workmanship classes your horse is meant to be in.
