Monday, September 2, 2024 8:04 AMHi! It was brought to my attention that this may cause issues later on so I just wanted to quickly mention that judges were allowed to enter classes they are not judging. Im just gonna mention who judges what to avoid any misunderstandings.

Wednesday, September 4, 2024 12:33 AMThanks for the advance notice and I appreciate you being straightforward about the situation.
I just want to say that I, personally, do not feel it's good practice for me, as a host, to enter a show that I have created and that I selected the judges for, even if I'm not the judge of the particular class/section/division I enter. We recently had a pretty lengthy discussion about this exact practice here on the forums, and I had to ask myself how I would feel if I were to enter my own show, and one of my own models advanced to Section Champion or even Division Champion. It's just not a situation I would ever want to find myself in as a show host. This is just food for thought, and I'm sure not everyone agrees.

Wednesday, September 4, 2024 8:30 AMJust to add to conversation, where we're from (me and host) it's common practice to allow judges/hosts to enter classes they are not judging, purely because of how little events there are. Every region has it's own things so something that's bad practice in US can be perfectly normal and acceptable somewhere else :)
