Knabstrupper types

Hey! I don't suppose there's any way to split Knabstrupper by its three types (Sport, Baroque and Pony)? There's been a few occasions where I haven't been able to enter my Knabstrupper Pony into European pony classes as Knabstrup only appears under 'Sport'!

Knabstrupper Pony has been added under European Pony. As for the Baroque, is there any insight into where this would go in the breed categories? Sport obviously remains under European Warmblood for now :)

Perhaps Iberian for the Baroque? A Baroque-type horse is described as one that retains the characteristics of those during the Baroque era. Modern day types are Andalusians, Lusitanos, etc, so I could see a baroque knabstrupper going under that, considering Iberians are very baroque-ish (pretty sure I just made up that word 🤣)

That makes sense, though the grouping is named Spanish/Iberian and refers more to the area of origin/origin of breed influence (Spain or the Iberian Peninsula, such as the Andalusians & Lusitanos, and all the resulting Spanish/Iberian breeds in places like South America where they were brought over directly from that area), and Knabs are Danish in origin.

I'm considering Carriage/Driving for Baroque due to the heavier build and that they are considered very similar to other breeds in that category like Frederiksborger, another Danish breed that is closely related. Any thoughts?

Hmm. Difficult choice. I think I would vote for it to go in Carriage. I see a fair few in photos driving, so it seems a solid decision.

Knabstrupper - Sport, under European Warmblood

Knabstrupper - Baroque, under Carriage/Driving

Knabstrupper - Pony, under European Pony
