Show Hosting Template

I'm working on creating a show, which lead me to this idea:

I would LOVE to see an optional template for getting classes together. Like, pre-set classes, so there isn't as much work for show hosts.

Yes yes yes! I would LOVE this option! I feel like we would see a lot more shows if show hosting was simplified a bit.

I think that it would make it a lot easier for show hosts.

I am working on setting up my 3rd Annual Maple Leaf International photo show (March 1st), and I can tell you, having the ability to save a template from a previous year's show (or any show) would be an enormous time-saver!

Right now, when setting up a show; all the divisions, sections, classes, etc— must be done manually. This takes an enormous amount of time.
Having the ability to "save as template" for future shows would be a tremendous asset & time-saver for future shows & showholders!

This is something already on our list that we will be implementing with the Show Creation System Overhaul, a project that is in the works that we hope to have finished and available in the coming months. It will include pre-set templates and a lot more QOL improvements. Basically, the whole system is being started over from scratch. The show hosting system as it is now was more of an afterthought - originally OMHPS was not going to be a platform for anyone to host shows, but just a place for us to host our own photo shows. It is something that was designed for the back end, not the user end, and needs to be entirely redone. This is taking some time, of course, but we hope to have more updates on it in the near future :)
