Crescent Cove MHA Spring Photo Show 2023
This is the 5th edition of the discord group Crescent Cove Model Horses and Art's Quarterly photo shows! As usual, this show is 100% free of charge but is ONLY for members of CCMHA on Discord. New members are welcome as well, you can join by this link: Link . You have to be in the server to enter, the server is how I communicate with entrants. I'm also holding a fun giveaway on the server ;) (This banner was made by the amazing ArquencielFox!)
1. OF Plastic only for this show! One breed class per horse, if you enter the same horse in multiple BOTH will be DQ. 2. Should not have to say this, NO STOLEN IMAGES, if you're caught you will be reported. 3. Judging is based on photo quality, breed choice, and lastly (if the others are too close to choose) favorites! The last choice is ONLY if the other entrants are equal in quality and breed choice. 4. Photos should be well lit, with the model shown in a good conformation pose (body perpendicular to the camera regardless of head angle), Backgrounds should not distract from the model, they can be realistic but if they are they should not cover the horse in any way and be in correct scale. 6. Halter classes should not have any tack or hang tags visible on the model. If tack cannot be removed please state.
This show has a private list of entrants that are allowed to enter.

Classes
Any and all crossbreeds involving a carriage breed. Can be carriage x carriage or carriage x other but they should not be a breed that makes another class (Friesian x Saddlebred= Georgian grande, enter that class instead)
Cross breeds only
Purebred Friesians only! If a color other than black, a good photo reference may be helpful.
A pretty breed created by crossing a draft with an american saddlebred. Most often Friesians. Can be most any color, tend to have slight feathering, upright head carriage, and flashy movements.
Fluffy chunky cuties. They come in basically all colors and are so much fun!
Classes
Pretty, thick feathering, Clydesdale like build with many coat options.
Roan, bay, chestnut, possibly grey coat colors. Black can appear but cannot be registered. Heavy build with heavy feathering.
Belgians are pretty much always chestnut/mealy, if yours is another color please provide a reference. They do not have much feathering.
Can be chestnut, bay, black, roan, and grey. Often have docked tails and HEAVY feathering. Very thick build.
Most often bay with white feathers and a blaze but can be many colors with loud sabino markings!
All crosses involving a draft. Draft x Draft or draft x other.
Cross breeds only
Naomi's favorite draft breed. Little feathering. Most often black or grey but can also be roan, bay and chestnut!
Can be bay, chestnut, flaxen, and roan. Can have some semi-thick feathering.
The tallest horse breed (supposedly! Others like to take the title too), Most often bay with white stockings and blaze, can also be black, chestnut, and grey.
A rare breed with heavy Percheron influence but the color from Appaloosas.

Classes
Can be most solid colors and some pinto colors, not appaloosa. Can be shown with or without a tail brace.
Can be most solid colors and some pinto colors, not appaloosa. Can be shown with or without a tail brace.
Known for their Foxtrotting gait, walking in the front, trotting in the back!
Do not enter MFT, TWH, or SSH in this class, they have their own class and are only included so their crosses can be entered.
Basically a subtype of TWH, always spotted and always gaited but do not always Running walk like TWH, some will rack instead.
Can be almost every coat color possible, no known pearl but can be champagne. Can even be appaloosa rarely. Can be shown with a tail brace but only if the horse is also wearing padded shoes. They do not wear tail braces otherwise in modern day.
