I See Red
Hagen-Renaker San Dimas Rooster missing his red glaze. This sculpture, known as "Alex," was made for many years in brown, white (the intended color here) and "banty" (a combination color) starting in 1955 and ending in the eighties. The so-called "San Dimas" period ran from 1968 to mid-seventies and the style and painting of the pieces from these period were very contrasty.
