From Identify Your Breyer, "The Man O' War mold is a portrait model of the famous Thoroughbred racehorse of the same name, first appearing in Breyer's Race Horse series in 1975 along with Kelso, Silky Sullivan, Swaps, and Terrang. All of these racehorse molds were originally sculpted by Maureen Love for Hagen-Renaker as "Man O' War." Some of the earliest Man O' War models have no mold marks, but the rest have the round "Breyer Molding Co." stamp and some may also having the "B" stamp. Man O' War is Breyer mold #602." Link
