Hagen-Renaker Monrovia-era (1957 to approximately 1959) “Sherif” in white grey. Per Sue Stewart, there are at least two documented cases of Arabian foals born white (grey) in the 1960s and/or 70s. Consequently, for a number of years, Arabian breeders had the option of selecting "white" as the horse's color. H-R did not keep records of numbers made, but two people with longtime contacts with the factory have speculated that H-R produced no more than 500 "regular runs" per horse.
