The Drum Horse, a draft horse that is a mix between the Shire, Clydesdale, and Gypsy, usually has a head that is in proportion to the body, and a jaw and muzzle that are square. The ears should be carried alertly, with eyes that are any color and have a kind expression. A long, well muscled neck should tie in smoothly with the shoulders and withers. A chest that is as deep and broad as the shoulders, and is balanced in proportion to the body is also preferred. The shoulders should be level.
