From Identify Your Breyer, "The Stock Horse Stallion (commonly abbreviated SHS) was introduced in 1981 and has the round "Breyer Molding Co." mold stamp, and early models have an upside-down or backward "B" stamp as well. Older models have sometimes had their off hind hood pared down at the factory, presumably in an attempt to help stabilize this notoriously tippy mold. A longer tail was added in 2008 with DZ Weedo. The mold was sculpted by Chris Hess and is Breyer mold #226." Link
