Both the American Saddlebred and the Tennessee Walking Horse carries the Champagne gene. Only the Tennessee Walking Horse carries the Dun gene (example pictured). However, this model exhibits a Dorsal Stripe, and it is too fine to be labeled as Countershading; so, while taking the mold's structure into consideration, a cross between the two was the better option.
