Bretons are a French breed of heavy draft. They are shown in a braid with a long tassel, either hair-colored, straw-colored, white-colored, or sometimes unnatural color, and their tails are generally kept short. The breed is known for its strength and almost always comes in various shades of chestnut, often with flaxen, though they also come in roan, bay, or gray.
