- Name
- Annandales Silver Eagle
- References
- This gaited breed is derived on the genes of horses from the Chinese/Siberian border country and the Spanish Jennet. Approved gaited stock (TWH, Fox Trotter, Appaloosa Shuffler, Peruvian Paso) are bred to Appaloosas as a base. Royalty horses are gaited (stepping pace, rack, fox trot, or running walk). Heavenly horses are non-gaited (Glider /Shuffler). Gait is gender inherited - fillies from sires and colts from dams. The final goal of the Tiger breeding program is the Soulon. It is considered the epitome of type and has a separate registry. Soulons must exhibit gait and color in order to be approved.
