The Freiberger is a Swiss breed of horse of light draught type. The breed is widely distributed in Switzerland, and is also present in France and Belgium. Though formerly used principally as a farm horse or by the Swiss army; it is now used mainly for driving and riding. Crossing with the Friesian gives him high stepping style and the Knabstrupper in his heritage adds a splash of color that makes him even more special.
