Walker Lane Laddie

The Dutch Draft was developed in the Netherlands at the beginning of the 20th century out of Zeeland horses, which were crossed with Heavy Belgian Drafts (see 'Brabant') and with Ardennais horses. The conformation and general appearance of Dutch Drafts is extremely similar to that of Heavy Belgian Drafts. As such, they have small ears, relatively small heads, short necks, short and thick legs, and large hooves. In addition, their bodies are extremely wide and heavily muscled.
