- From Identify Your Breyer, "The Foundation Stallion mold was introduced in 1977 and has the round "Breyer Molding Co." mold stamp, with some have the "B" stamp as well. It never received the "U.S.A." stamp. The mold appears with and without a sheath. He appears without a sheath in 1977-1980/81, with the sheath in 1980/1981-1991, and without it from 1992 on. The Foundation Stallion was sculpted by Chris Hess and is Breyer #64." Link
