Chestnut Slipped Tobiano

Fuzz1ePony's Horse

Name
Teige
References
A Slipped Tobiano pattern occurs when the Tobiano gene cells in utero doesn't migrate to the appropriate location, but ends up in a different location. In this case, the withers mapping (which has a distinctive shape) is on the side of the horse rather than on the withers where it's supposed to be. This is a common occurrence in northern Celtic breeds, however, it can also happen in any other breed has the Tobiano gene.
