Transaction Reviews

If you use our forums to sell, buy, or trade model horses, feel free to use this thread to submit reviews of how your transaction went with another user. There are also other resources around the web to check reputations and stay safe when entering into transactions (like the TTB on Model Horse Blab or the Transaction Board group on Facebook).

When submitting a review, please attach your full name and give pertinent information regarding the transaction. Remember not to be rude, speculative, or otherwise mean in your post, even if you've had a negative transaction with someone.

Please only submit posts regarding transactions you are involved in - third party posts are not allowed.

Here is an example of a good review using the "green, yellow, red light" system:

"Greens to Example - sold a horse to me, packed well, shipped promptly and kept good communication."

A yellow review:

"Yellow lights to Example - sold some props to me, but it took a long time to ship and the items weren't quite as described. The communication wasn't great. Still, I got my items in the end and they offered a partial refund after some pestering.

And a red review:

Red lights to Example - we agreed to a trade and were supposed to send our halves on the same day. I sent mine, but never received theirs. They have stopped communicating with me and I am now out of an item.

Remember that when entering a transaction with someone on OMHPS, you are doing so at your own risk and discretion. We cannot help you if you run into a bad situation - it is something you will have to take to higher authorities if necessary.
