Shows Saying Horses Ineligible When They Should Be

Thursday, September 8, 2022 4:26 PMI've had this happen many times (especially lately) where my horses are correctly listed on their profiles, but some shows will not let me enter in the class they should be able to enter in. For example, one model I've had issues with is a Traditional sized Artist Resin Mule. I have the profile for that model as a Traditional, Artist Resin and breed Mule. However, when I go to enter him in a show under Large Artist Resin Mules/ Longears, he doesn't show up for entry and the site says I have no horses eligible for that class. In fact, most of the time he doesn't even show up under ANY Artist Resin class. This has happened numerous times on this site with many of my models including CM and OF.
How do you resolve this? Is it a site error or a show error? I can't enter shows because of this and it's been happening a lot recently on this site. I never had this problem before until the last few months. Any help is appreciated!

Saturday, September 10, 2022 6:02 AMHave you looked under your Ineligible Horses on the class entry page? It says exactly what the discrepancy is for each model that isn't eligible. Likely this is an issue with how the host set up the show, they may have left out certain things such as listing the genders allowed for their longear class as stallion and mare instead of jack, john, jenny, or molly. I definitely recommend always checking your Ineligible Horses tab first since it explains everything. From there see if it is an issue with how the class is set up or if there is a requirement your model doesn't have. If it's an issue with the class, contact the host.
