Hmm... Unable to include links when making a forum post

Sunday, October 23, 2022 10:59 AM

I made a forum post about the conclusion of my show

For some reason, after I hit 'Submit new topic' - none of the text links work

Example:
🍁🏆 DIVISION GRAND CHAMPION: Harecroft Carrapicho - owned by HarecroftHorses

I'm also getting an error msg everytime I edit or create a new post: "Failed to initialize plugin: paste"

I thought I'd try seeing as it's my horse being the test example here and I can grab his url in less clicks than anyone else, hahah

Having the exact same issue when trying to use the link button, but it works when I type the code myself :

Harecroft Carrapicho

So while I can't offer any help in actually solving the problem, there is a work-around for if you want to fix your links in that post just so it works how you wanted in the meantime.

Use (url=link to horse's page)name of horse(/url) where you want each link to be, but switch all the ( ) for [ ] instead - I had to write it slightly different to make the text show here, otherwise the forum would get confused and think I was attempting to post a link right there!

Hay thanks! It sorta worked...đŸ„ŽI couldn't use the text link for the actual image itself; I tried all permutations... As soon as I paste in the image url, the server defaults/loads the actual image (frustrating!)Finally, the only way I could get the text links to work, was to use an url shortener for the actual image itself. It's a convoluted way to insert text links. 😕 HarecroftHorses said:
