Hello from Louisiana, USA

My name is T.J. Hurst and I still have my carpet herd collection from the 1950s and 60s. Yeah, I am that old - LOL! I have been customizing and painting models since 2013 and taking commissions since 2016 - but only Appaloosas, my favorite! I am completely new to photo showing, and have never been to a live show, so I am looking forward to participating. I do have a question though...Do I have to currently own the model I enter, or could I use photos of some of the ones I have sold and/or done as commissions? I look forward to seeing everyone's pretty ponies!

I'd say that depends on the show you are entering. For most photo shows you have to own the horse you are showing. For OMHPS shows, we expect the same. However, in the future there could be a user-hosted show on this site that allows artists to enter their work even if they don't own them anymore. If you'd like to upload them without really caring about the showing aspect, I'd say go for it! Just check with show hosts for any show you enter going forward :)
