Fireworks Flash Show has Concluded

The 2nd Annual Fireworks Flash Show (for loud paints and appaloosas) has concluded.

Thanks to all who participated this year! Most of the classes were at capacity with 25 entries.

Notes on Show:

• Judging was completed in 14 days.
• A "Reserve to Section Reserve Champion" was added this year (I believe it awards 40 OMHPS points).
• A limited number of classes were split at the judge's discretion.
• No models were DQ'd but were placed lower if they didn't suit the class criteria (see below).

Notes on Classes:

No disqualifications. If models were entered in an incorrect class, they were placed after all models that correctly suited the class criteria. (For instance, if the class was for multiple patterns, but the model entered was a tobiano pinto with no additional pattern, that model was placed after models that suited the class criteria. If there were less than 10 entries, the model received a placing/ribbon.)

Info on Judging Criteria:

The following judging criteria was outlined in the Show Description, and was used in determining placement of models within each class.

"Judging criteria will be color and pattern details, quality of finish, overall conformation, musculature, and photo dynamics. All parts of the horse (including hooves, ears, tail) must be in frame and not obscured. Photos that are well lit and taken from the side work best, but any angle is acceptable provided all areas of the model are clearly visible."
