fantasy vs decorator

Hi everyone I am brand new to showing and have a question what is the difference between fantasy and a decorator? I have a OOAK Peter Stone that I got as a birthday gift and want to make sure I am entering him in the right class Lord Octavious he is an ISH with ocean scene and octopus on him. Thank you Michele

In my experience, fantasy models are more like unicorns, pegasus, kelpie, hippocampus, etc. They are more like a horse but with a twist. For decos I think they are more like a basic horse body with unrealistic colors like silver filigree or gold.

It sounds like the model you are describing would be classified as a decorator because of the unrealistic color/pattern.
