Creative Halter Show

Wednesday, May 11, 2022 5:21 PM

So this summer I am thinking about hosting a show. I would like to know people's opinions on whether "creative halter classes" should be under "halter or "performance" divisions. I know OMHPS says either is okay, but I would like to know which people prefer. If under halter, it would be registered as an alternative image. Under performance, it would be fun entry or scene.

I appreciate you sharing your opinion!

I think that performance would be a good pick, sounds fun! So that it wouldn't have to be an alternate image.

Do you have to make a performance for THAT performance scene?

Hope this helps,

Heidi (Schleich&Breyer)

Thanks! I'm not sure I understand your question, if you're asking what scene is, it would be a scene made of your model horses that would be created around a prompt, for example, one of my creative halter prompts would be "Thief!" so you would make a specific scene based on the prompt "Thief!".

Thank you for your input! :)

I agree with HeidiSB (performance). It sounds very creative!

I don't normally do anything other than halter/workmanship classes, but I might have to make an exception for this show! :)

Thanks! I'm working on the paper planning now, I hope to have it up by the end of May. There will be a very small fee (just to cover the PSH token, and the work/money involved in making/customizing/designing the fancy custom digital ribbons). There will be standard halter classes (HUGE CLASS LIST!!!) and a few creative halter classes. There will even be classes for other animals! 😁

Thanks! Hopefully it will be up soon, but as mentioned in another post, I'm having an issue creating it. :)
