1;18 scale in shows

Saturday, April 1, 2023 5:21 PMHey! I have a question for show judges and hosts
Why are 1:18 scale (CollectA schleich WIA) often not included in your shows and why?
I do not collect anything above the 1:18 scale and when looking for shows I found only 1 that has a class list for them.

Saturday, April 1, 2023 8:14 PMCollectA horses come in three scales: Mini, Standard, and Deluxe.
⦁ Mini Horses are roughly 1:64 scale, similar to Breyer's Mini Whinnies
⦁ Standard models are roughly between 1:18, 1:20, to 1:24 scale, (about the size of Breyer Paddock Pals), and are considered MINI’s.
⦁ Deluxe models are roughly 1:12 scale — larger than Breyer's Classic series horses (or similar to Breyer small traditionals), and are usually slotted with Traditional/Classic size models.
OMHPS currently doesn't have a 1:18 size category, so most entrants are forced to choose either the 1:20 or 1:24 size category if they want to enter these models in any of the shows.
OMHPS admin are pretty flexible though. I'm sure if you email them with your request, they can add this to their sizes category🙂

Saturday, April 1, 2023 8:39 PMAppaloosa, OMHPS does actually have 1:18 as an option to classify your model in.
My show includes 1:18 scale models in the Small division! I know how frustrating that can be, not having a model eligible for a show.
I included all of the scales, to make it as inclusive as possible. Next show I will be broadening the divisions from just Original Finish as well. The site just got too laggy for my computer to include more divisions. :)

Sunday, April 2, 2023 3:31 PMOh!! Thanks for heads up. Apologies for the mis-info. I stand corrected. 😉
I always include the collectA 1:18 scale/
I think it's the 1:20 scale that OMHPS doesn't have?
Correct me if I'm wrong😉
Cheers,
