Is Shannondell's back left leg correct?

His back left leg has always looked weird to me-

Do any of you (especially who are knowledgeable in horse anatomy) know if that leg is correct or not? I've always been interested to know if it is.

I haven't bought any on the mold because of how weird it looks...

Yes, it is technically correct. He is meant to be just starting to lift it off the ground. Here is a reference photo that's nearly spot-on for his pose, back foot not flat on the ground, and musculature:

And another in the same pose with the back foot lifting off the ground, front still flat:

Yes, you're right!

That left back hoof should be sitting flat on the ground (instead of being positioned tippy-toed); like as in these photos:

Shannondell's leg is perfectly accurate, even if a little weird looking. Many poses are that way when taken out of context. His leg would have been flat, moving into that position. :)

I have realized (upon even more staring at photos of Shannondell) that there are three hooves are tippy-toed which doesn't seem very realistic to me (I'm not an expert).

Anyways, it's just a plastic horse ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Thank you to everyone's very helpful replies! :)

It's very reasonable to have three legs on tip toe, especially in an elevated or floating gait. :) But yeah. It's just a (gorgeous) plastic horse. I don't have any on Shannondell, but I think someday I'll customize one to a nice tobiano Gypsy Vanner.
